Deloitte’s Online practice is currently recruiting for the Summer Vacation Program 2010-2011, and has a number of roles available in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.  As a Vacationer you’ll spend four weeks working with the Online team and enjoy significant client exposure, networking opportunities, training and feedback. And with the prospect of securing a graduate position at the conclusion of the program, it is a perfect chance for you to ‘try before you buy’.

Roles

We are looking for a number of talented and passionate individuals who share a dedication to everything online.  The roles we’re looking for (with ideal degree qualifications) are:

  • Interactive Designers (Multimedia / Design / Digital)
  • Business Analysts (Technology related)
  • Front-End Developers (IT / Multimedia / Software Engineering / Computer Science)
  • Software Engineers (Software Engineering / Computer Science)

Application process

Applications are now open, and will be closing soon:

  • Melbourne: due 5pm, Tuesday 10th August, 2010
  • Sydney:  due 5pm, Thursday 12th August, 2010
  • Adelaide: not yet open - check back soon.

If you are in your penultimate year at university you are eligible to apply.

To apply online follow these steps:

  • Go to http://graduates.deloitte.com.au/ and click “Apply Now”
  • Select “Victoria” or “New South Wales” then click “Search jobs”
  • Select either “Melbourne 2010-2011 Summer Vacation Program” or “NSW 2010-11 Summer Vacation Program”
  • Read the application information and click “Apply Online”
  • Create a new user account
  • Complete the 5 step online application
  • At step 3:
    • Q2 - Service line preference: select “Consulting – Technology”.
    • Q3 - Why do you want to work in this service line: explain that you would like to work in the Online team, and which role you are after.
    • Q4 - Second service line preference: select “I do not have a second service line preference”
  • At step 4, submit a cover letter, resume and academic results. Best to upload via file attachment.
  • If applying for the role of Interactive Designer, please also email your PDF portfolio with samples of work to online@deloitte.com.au, clearly stating your name and course.  Alternatively you may wish to include the URL of a portfolio website in the resume they will upload.

We encourage you to complete your application as early as possible. Please ensure that you complete all 5 steps and press Submit when you have completed your application.  You will need to be available in the two weeks after applications close for assessment activities and interviews.
